The Pottstown Juneteenth Community Scholarship is a prestigious award created to honor the academic achievements and celebrate the resilience of African American students in the Pottstown community. This scholarship aims to provide financial support and recognition to deserving individuals who are either currently enrolled in college or about to embark on their higher education journey. By acknowledging their accomplishments, we strive to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders who will contribute to the advancement of their community and beyond.

  • Applicant must identify as African American

  • Applicant must reside in the Pottstown or Pottsgrove community

  • Applicant must be enrolled (or) plan to be enrolled in an accredited college

  • Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Demonstrated involvement in community service, volunteer work, or extracurricular activities is highly valued

  • While not the sole determining factor, financial need will be taken into consideration during our selection process.
